Paper Title
Recent Advancement in Polyhydroxyalkanoates Production from Various Feed Stocks

Abstract
Petroleum-based plastics causes serious environmental issues from requiring hundreds of years for their decomposition to releasing toxic elements in the environment. Therefore, the requirement of biodegradable and non-toxic alternative is increasing day by day. Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) are the most promising bioplastics which are derived from clean fermentation processes and are proposed as the most ecologically sustainable alternative of the present plastic. However, despite all these benefits, these are still long way from commercialization. And most prominent reasons for that is the poor yield, huge cost implications of feedstock required for PHA production and their physical properties, especially mechanical strength. In this review, PHA is discussed in brief with the blends under investigations to improve their physical propertiesand the plausible waste feedstock sources to cut down the costs as much as possible followed by the fermentation methods and the use of CRISPRfor increasing the PHA production.
