Paper Title
Application of Meditative Strategy using Mobile App Intervention to Improve Memory Retention among University Students

Abstract
Research suggests that contemplative practices such as meditation and relaxation techniques have a variety of benefits, from improving awareness to reduced stress and anxiety. Increasingly, these practices are being adapted in educational settings to foster the development of key self-regulatory skills required for improved learning performance. This research study determines the impact of an adapted meditative strategy and relaxation technique on anxiety and stress level through empirical evidence that supports the introduction of transcendental meditation as a contemplative practice for better memory retention. This research was based on implementation of a meditation training intervention using a mobile meditation app for a period of four weeks among graduate and undergraduate university students. It was identified that memory retention level improved among students when stress level was brought down through the implemented meditation intervention.
