Real time Sign Language Detection using Tensor Flow API and Python
Abstract
Let us assume someone developed a cutting-edge architecture to identify the hand gestures and generate texts based on the gestures and signals with great accuracy. One of the recent areas of study with the fastest growth is the detection of sign language. In this field, several innovative strategies have been developed. This paper will discuss and develop a supervised machine learning model that uses the Tensor Flow object detection API with python programming language that will help in creating a real time Sign language detector. Here we are using ten common phases or words in American Sign Language to create a model that detects and translates those phases into English words. The entire project is divided into two main parts: the real time object detection and sign language detection.
