To study the work-life balance and subjective Wellbeing of employees in insurance sector with special reference to northern kerala

Abstract
Every employee needs to have a work-life balance in order to fulfill their tasks and obligations effectively and efficiently. When it becomes difficult to manage both family and job obligations, there is a problem with work-life balance. Employees will be content in their professional and personal lives if there is a work-life balance. There is a relation between work-life balance and subjective wellbeing. The employees with high subjective wellbeing and high productivity are valuable asset to the organization. The article focuses on work life balance and subjective wellbeing of employees. The analyzing of the dimensions of work life balance such as work interference with personal life (WIPL), personal life interference with work (PLIW), and work/personal life enhancement (WPLE) and the various dimensions of subjective well-being such as Life satisfaction, Happiness conditions, Happiness evaluation will be done in the study. And will analyze the relationship between work life balance and subjective well-being among employees and difference of work-life balance on the bases of gender. Descriptive research design is used for the study and a questionnaire is used to collect data from the sample of 100 employees of insurance sector, SPSS is used for analyzing data. Studies have been done in work-life balance but those have not explored the work-life balance with subjective wellbeing of men, in this study the work-life balance and subjective wellbeing of both male and female employees on the insurance sector will be studied.
