Paper Title
Scalable Biexcitons in h-BN/Monolayer MoSe2 Quantum Dots for Quantum Entanglement and Computation
Abstract
This paper presents numerical calculations of biexciton parameters in h-BN/ monolayer MoSe2 quantum dots for use in photonic quantum computation. Polarization-entangled photons can be generated from biexcition states for two-qubit entanglement needed for many quantum computation frameworks. Biexciton binding energies are calculated along with photon energies in entangled states. Decoherence parameters are calculated for evaluation of fidelity measures for quantum computation. The advantages of using quantum dots made from intrinsic 2D materials are delineated from a quantum computation implementation perspective.
