Role of Web-Based Technology in Attracting Potential Job Seekers-A Study Indifferent Sectors World Wide

Abstract
Human Resource Departments in many firms throughout the world are using information technology more frequently, electronic recruitmentor E-recruitmenthas become a standard practise. Yet, although it is still a relatively new technique, we can now see social media being included into e-recruitment. Based on existing literature, this review study seeks to analyse the impact of social media on the e-recruitment process. The cheap availability of information has also been shown to be a factor in the growing popularity of using social media as a complementary source. The paper is anticipated to be advantageous for the job seekers and human resource managers in order to take crucial decisions in the process of recruitment.
