Improving Efficiency of Solar Power Plant
Abstract
The purpose of this project is to develop a real-time data monitoring system that optimizes the energy output of solar panels by providing accurate information on their performance. The proposed system captures data from SCADA systems placed at solar sites that collect real-time data on the solar panel's energy output, temperature, shading, and dirt. This data will be processed and analysed using Microsoft Azure cloud services to identify any issues that may be affecting the panel's performance. The system will also provide alerts and recommendations for maintenance and repairs to maximize the solar panel's efficiency and energy output. The ultimate goal of this project is to help promote the use of renewable energy sources and increase the financial savings of individuals and businesses utilizing solar panels.
