A Critical Study of Preferences of the Convenience Foods Working People in it Cities
Abstract
This paper discusses the challenges faced by working class in cities like Pune, Bangalore, Delhi and other cities for Convenience, Processed and Packaged Food. The rapid modernization has brought immense changes in the social and cultural practices which have affected the cooking and eating habits of the Indian families. The trends towards convenience food, processed food or packaged food has been commonly used in the India kitchen these days.
Researcher, highlights importance of convenience foods or processed foods, use of these towards working class people who may not have time to prepare on day-to-day basis. Challenges faced by working class prepares more and tastes preferences towards liking or disliking and increasing the brands in the markets. Due to increase in the earning levels, urbanization, education, enhancement in health consciousness levels, changes in lifestyles and family structure, a change in the food buying behaviour of the consumers has occurred.
Researcher, tries to understand preferring by undertaking a pilot study of 511 respondents, and tries to hypothecate the contestants and tries to do reliability test, discusses the impacts on working class categories.
