MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS OF TTV-TDV PHASE DIFFERENCE INDUCED BY POSSIBLE EXOMOONS

Abstract
Abstract - The preexisting literaturehas not been able to make a clearexperimental distinction between the effects of exomoons and non-transiting planets onthe observed exoplanet. It turns out that the Exomoon Hypothesis can be mappeddown to the relationship between transit timing variation (TTV) and transit durationvariation (TDV). We dive deeperinto this relationship and aim to understand add to its mathematical formulation after which weanalyze the role of different parameters that are mathematically accounted for.
